Heard Sri Rajesh Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Harsh Vardhan Gupta, learned counsel, who has entered appearance on behalf of the respondent nos. 1 to 6.
The case of the petitioner is that he retired on 31.12.2019 after attaining the age of superannuation. Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the retiral benefits of the petitioner has not been released by the respondent -U.P. Jal Nigam and in this regard he has made a representation on 14.07.2020 before the respondent no.2, which is annexed as Annexure-4 to the writ petition. He further submits that the pending representation may be decided at the earliest.
Sri Harsh Vardhan Gupta, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 1 to 6 submits that the claim of the petitioner shall be examined and appropriate orders shall be passed within a stipulated time.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent no. 2 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 14.07.2020, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order.
