The petitioners in the writ petition are seeking a direction to the respondents to ensure the installation of the cane purchase centre at Dhanauri Ahir Village.
In view of the order dated 26.10.2018 passed by the Cane Commissioner, the petitioners' village, namely Dhanauri Ahir was made a cane purchase centre.
The learned counsel for the petitioner states that in spite of order of the Commissioner dated 26.10.2018, the cane purchase centre has now been changed from the petitioners' village to Daidera village, although there is no written order to that effect.
The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have preferred a representation before the Cane Commissioner, Lucknow on 16.11.2018 under receiving Annexure-5 to the writ petition.
No useful purpose would be served by keeping this writ petition pending.
This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2, Commissioner, Cane & Sugar, U.P. 17, New Beri Raod, Dalibagh, Lucknow to consider and decide the petitioner's representation dated 16.11.2018 Annexure-5 to the writ petition expeditiously, preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order in his office.
It is made clear the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merit.
