The petitioner in the writ petition is challenging the order dated 15.6.2007 whereby the fair price shop licence of the petitioner has been suspended.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that this is a writ petition of the year 2007 and no suspension order can continue for such a long time. Either the suspension order has been revoked or it has concluded in cancellation of the licence of the petitioner. In either case he submits the writ petition has become infructuous.
Sri A.K. Malviya, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has informed the petitioner about the listing of this case but he has not received any reply.
We have gone through pleading of the parties and the documents on record.
We are of the view that the writ petition has become infructuous by efflux of time and the same is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous.
Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
