The grievance urged in the instant writ petition is that the petitioner, who wants to appear in the LL.B. Admission Test 2018 conducted by Allahabad University is not being issued Admit Card, although, the fee for the said examination was duly deposited by him. On 18.5.2018, the following order was passed : -

"The case of the petitioner is that he filled online form for L.L.B. Entrance Examination 2018 and also deposited examination fee of Rs.350 on 5.5.2018. He also received a message that the operation has been successful. However, on 8.5.2018, he received another message that his registration for appearing in the Entrance Examination has been turned down, as he had failed to deposit the examination fee. The petitioner also received refund of Rs.350 on 10.5.2018 deposited as examination fee. The examinations are to commence from 22.5.2018 and, therefore, having regard to the urgency of the matter and upon mention being made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the record of the instant case was called for.

Sri Nigam, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents no.1 to 3 seeks time to obtain instructions in the matter.

As prayed, put up as fresh on 21.5.2018."

Today, when the matter is taken up, Sri Manoj Nigam, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Allahabad University, on instructions, states that in case the petitioner deposits the entrance examination fee at Pravesh Bhawan today itself, he will be permitted to appear in the examination, which is scheduled to be held on 22.5.2018. He states that after deposing the fee, the petitioner has to produce receipt thereof before the Director of Admissions, who will thereafter do needful in the matter.

Having regard to the statement made by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Allahabad University, the instant writ petition is disposed of in terms thereof.

A certified copy of the order shall be issued to the learned counsel for the petitioner on payment of usual charges today itself.
