The instant writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus commanding respondent no.4 to grant recognition to the petitioner institution to run D.El.Ed. course. According to counsel for the petitioners, the application was filed in the year 2012, but it has not been disposed of so far.
Sri Dhananjay Awasthi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents 4 and 5, on instructions states that the application of the petitioner institution was rejected by order dated 31.5.2016. He has also placed on record the said order for perusal of the Court.
In view of said fact, nothing further survives for being decided in the instant matter. It is left open to the petitioners to challenge the rejection order dated 31.5.2016 in such manner as may be advised.
The petition stands disposed of with the above observations.
