The instant writ petition has been filed seeking several reliefs. However, learned counsel for the petitioners has pressed only relief no.1, which is for issuing a mandamus commanding respondent no.2 to take decision on the complaint filed by petitioners in respect of attestation of signatures of respondent no.3 as Manager of the institution.

On 18.5.2018, the following order was passed :-

"Sri B.P. Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no.2 seeks time to obtain instructions as regards the fate of the complaint filed by the petitioners and which was left open for being decided by order dated 20.5.2016 in Writ-C No.22247 of 2016.

Put up as fresh on 24 May 2018."

Today, when the matter is taken up, Sri B. P. Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no.2 states that he could not receive instructions from respondent no.2. He submitted that in case the complaint has not been decided by respondent no.2, decision shall be taken within such time as may be directed by this Court.

Accordingly, without expressing any opinion of merits, the instant writ petition is disposed of by providing that in case the complaint has not already been decided, the same shall be decided by respondent no.2 within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order after due notice and opportunity of hearing to respondent no.3 or any other person, who is likely to be affected thereby.
