Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned standing counsel for the State- respondents and learned counsel for the respondent Nos.2 and 3.
The petitioner who claims to have been appointed in the respondent No.4-Institution on 16.08.1999, has filed the present writ petition praying for the following relief:
2. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to decide the representation dated 20.12.2017 (Annexure No.9 to the writ petition) within stipulated period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
No document has been filed by the petitioner to demonstrate that he was ever appointed validly in the respondent No.4-Institution. No reason has been disclosed to approach this court after about 19 years.
After arguments were heard at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner wants to withdraw the writ petition, and, therefore, it may be dismissed as withdrawn.
In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn .
