| BA 1 No. 916 of 2021 Hon’ble N.S.Dhanik, J. Mr. S.R.S.Gill, learned counsel for the applicant. Mr. Pramod Kumar Tiwari, learned AGA for the State. The applicant Sukhvinder Singh, who is in judicial custody in connection with FIR No. 03 of 2021, under Section 420, 467, 468 and 471, Police Station Ranikhet, District Almora, has sought his release on bail. It is argued by learned counsel for the applicant that there is no independent witness of the incident alleged against the applicant; there is no credible evidence against the applicant to connect him with the alleged crime and his name has been involved with oblique motive; the applicant has no previous crim inal history and he is in jail since 03.03.2021. _Per contra,_learned State counsel opposed the bail stating that the applicant has committed forgery. Having considered all the submissions, under the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that the applicant deserves to be enlarged on bail. The bail application is allowed. |
