Petitioner is working as class IV employee in Tehsil Ukhimath District Rudraprayag. In departmental proceeding, the punishment has been imposed upon him for stoppages of two increments vide order dated 06.04.2013 passed by District Magistrate, Rudraprayag. Against the said order, an appeal which has been filed by the petitioner is pending before Commissioner, Garhwal Region, Pauri since last one and half years.
By means of this writ petition, petitioner seeks a direction from this Court to decide the departmental appeal.
In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction that in case the departmental appeal is pending before Commissioner, Garhwal Region Pauri, the same shall be decided in accordance with law by passing a speaking and reasoned order within a period of four weeks from the date of production certified copy of this order.
No order as to costs.
