An FIR has been lodged against the present applicant, who is husband of the deceased, for the offence punishable under Section 304B IPC. The allegation is that the applicant poured kerosene oil on the victim and set her on fire. She died an unnatural death due to burn injuries on 24.10.2014. In her declaration, the victim stated that her husband Mahavir Singh set her on fire by pouring kerosene oil.
It is hardly a case for grant of bail. Bail application of the applicant-husband is accordingly dismissed.
