" Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, order or direction and more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the registration of the F.l.R. No. 92 of 2014 on the file of Central Crime Station Police Station Hyderabad against the petitioners as illegal, unconstitutional and contrary to the provisions of the Wakf Act and quash the same for being violative of the mandatory requirements of Criminat Procedure Code and for constituting an abuse of process of law.

ORDER:

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.92 of 2014 on the file of Central Crime Police Station, Hyderabad, wherein the petitioners were arrayed as accused Nos.l and 2 for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 4O3,42O of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 61(2)(a)(i), 61(2Xb) and 101 of Waqf Act, 1995.

Ms.Sonanjali, learned counsel representing Sri N.Naveen Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners is present.

Sri B.Sridhar, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.l and 2 submitted that during the pendency of the writ^petition,the Investigation Officer, after conducting the investigation, filed final report before the concerned Magistrate on 23.LO.2O24 stating that the complaint has been closed due to lack^of evidence.
