Heard Sri M.Durga Prasad,. .learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Energy appearing on behalf of respondent No.1 and Sri N.Sreedhar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for TGSPDCL, appearing on behalf of the respondent Nos.2 to 4.

The case of the petitioner. in brief, is that the petitioner is the absolute owner and possessor of the plot bearing No.245 admeasuring 477 Sq. yards situated in Sy.Nos.1l/8, Ll/g, 1l/10, 11l11 and L 1/Part situated at Khanammet Village, Rajendra Nagar Taluk, Ranga Reddy District. Despite being the rightful owner and being in possession of the subject plot, respondents 3 and 4 have refused to provide an electricity connection/ citing a ban on connections for plots in the Ayyappa Society Colony. The petitioner approached the respondent authorities on several occasions, but they've orally refused to receive the petitioner's application for a new electric service connection. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed the present writ petition"

"It is brought to the notice of this Court^{that, in} identical set of circumstances, this Court^{passed an} interim order, dated 18.12.2015,^{in W.P.No.32614of} 2015.

The Counter aff idavit has been^{filed on behalfof the} resDo ndent No.4 and in oart^{cular, oararaoh No.3of the} said counter is extracted hereunder:

"It is submitted that on verification regarding any service connection in the above^referred premises it is found that the Petitioner has already been^provided with a service^{connectionbearingNo.} 12001 07965 in^premises bearing^3-245Ayyappa Society, Khanammet Village,^{Serilingampally.As the} petitioner is already having a service connection,

another service connection in the name of the petitioner cannot be provided. As per General Terms and Conditions of Supply only one service connection can be provided to a dwelling house."

Learned Standing Counsel for TGSpDCL, appearing on behalf of the respondent Nos.2 to 4 placing reliance on the averments made in the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent No.4 in particular paragraph No.3 ( referred to and extracted above), submits that the petitioner had already been provided with a service connection bearing No.12001 07965 in premises bearing No.3-245 Ayyappa Society, Khanammet Village, Serilingampally and therefore. another service connection in the name of the petitioner cannot be provided since as per the General Terms and Conditions of Supply. Only one service connection can be provided to a dwelling house.

Learned Standing Counsel further submits that the interim orders of this Court dated 29.03.2018 passed in I.A.No.1 of 2018 had become infructuous since the petitioner had already obtained Service connection.
