The Ministry of Road'lransport and Ilighways fMORTH" for short), Government ofIndia, declaredthe stretch of road junction at NH-161 near Nizampet to Bidar ffunction at NH-50 in Karnataka) via Narayankhed, Manoor,Nyalkhla and Dappur, as new Na.tional Highway and the Ministryhas approvedto the improvement of the above road from Nizampet toKarnataka border passing through the above saidvillages toNational Highrvay standards. For the purpose of the above said Nationzrl Highway, the respondents intended to acquire the land under the provisions of the Act, 1956 and accordingly, a preliminary notihcation under Section 34 of the Act, 1956 waspublished on 25.05.2018 and in view of lapse of the saicl notification for want of consequential notihcation under Section 3D of the saidAct, 1956, another notilication under Section 3A was published on 08.O8.2019 proposing to acquire the very same land,whichwas notified under the earlier notificationi. As this notification also lapsed due to COVID- 19 pandemic, the respondents issued another notification under Section 3A of the Act,1956 vide cazrctte notification No.386 dated 28.01.2021. Underthe initial two notifications published under Section3A of the Act, 1956, various lands were notil-red including the lartd in SurveyNos.55 and 57 /l of Narayankhed Village butthe land in Survey No.56
