At the time of marriage, the parents of respondent No.2 gave an amount of Rs.1,0O,OOO/- and other household articles to the petitioner as dov,vry. Respondent No.2 joined the company of the petitioner and three (3) children were born out of their wedlock. Respondent No.2 purchased a residential house bearing H.No.3, situated at Trimulgherry, Hyderabad, and two four wheeler vehicles i.e., TATA Sumo bearing No.Ap 9 AF 4536 and a goods carriage vehicle bearing No,Ap 10 W 3696 by selling gold ornaments of herself and also that of her widowed mother and also by borrowing money from her mother for the welfare of her children. Thereafter, the petitioner developed illegal intimacy with another woman, neglected his family and deprived them of their basic needs. When respondent No.2 questioned the petitioner al-rcut the same, the petiticner beat her rvith hockey stick indiscriminately on 2L.IL.2Ol2, due to which she sustained grievous injuries. Therefore, respondent No.2 preferred a complaint against the petitioner before the Station House Officer, Trimulgherry Police Station, which was registered in Cr.No.76 of 2013 for the offences punishable under Sections 324 and, 49g-A of IPC. Respondent No.2 is not much educated and not working an; Vhere and living with her widowed mother at the mercy of her distant relatives. The petitioner is working as a driver in ApSRTC
