When the nratter is taken up lor hearing, none appeared for the petitioner.
A perusal ofthe record discloses that the present writ petition is filed challenging the appointment of the 3'd respondent as Chief Flxecutive Officer of the 2nd respondent Society. The record further discloses that at the time of filing the writ petition, the petitioner and respondent No.3 were aged 5l and 56, respectively, and they have retired llom service.
In view of the above, this Court is of the considered view that the cause in the writ petition does not survive and, accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
