Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader.

¶23

The petitioner is the vendee and Mr M.A.Aleem is the vendor in respect of the subject property and they have entered into Sale Deed on 13 .O2.202O and registered in the office of the 2"d respondent and later both felt that the said document need to be cancelled for the reasons best known to them. However, the reasons are not necessary for deciding this rvrit petition.

The Deed of Cancellation dated 3O.I2.2O2O by paying requisite fee is presented before the 2na respondent, but he is not considering the same without any valid reason and hence, the present writ petition.

Without going into the merits of the case, having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2"a respndent to receive and proceess the Deed of Cancellation as and when presented by the petitioner in accordance with 1aw as expeditiously as possible. However, it is open to the registering authority to refuse to register/ receive the deeds presented before him, if he has any other objection, by duly assigning reasons in

support of such decision and communicate the decision to

the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Petition,
