ORDER:
This Contempt Case is filed alleging disobedience of orders of this Court dated 08.07.2014 passed in W.P.No.18781 of 2014 wherein this Court directed respondents 3 and 4 therein to supply essential commodities to the petitioner’s fair price shop for distribution, as long as petitioner’s authorization is valid and subsisting.
A counter affidavit is filed by the second respondent stating that copy of order passed in writ petition was received by his office on 18.08.2014 and immediately, allotment order vide proceedings in Rc.A/77/2013 dated 23.08.2014 was issued allotting stocks to the petitioner. It is further stated that the petitioner has also deposited the requisite money, received the stocks and distributed the same to the cardholders.
Since the order alleged to have been disobeyed by the respondents is since complied with, I see no reason to entertain this Contempt Case.
Hence, the Contempt Case is dismissed. No costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this case,
shall stand closed.
