Order: (per the Hon’ble the Acting Chief Justice Sri Pinaki Chandra Ghose)
Assailing the inaction of the respondent-authorities in implementing the provisions of the A.P. Prohibition of Cow Slaughter and Animal Preservation Act, 1977 (for short ‘the Act’) and in not formulating the Rules under the Act, the petitioner filed this Public Interest Litigation.
The issue raised in this Public Interest Litigation is squarely covered by the decision rendered by us in P.I.L. No. 266 of 2012, dated 3.9.2012.
Following the said decision and for the reasons stated therein, the Public Interest Litigation is disposed of.
