The Court made the following order:
ORDER:
Petitioners are seeking consideration of their candidature in response to the supplementary notification issued by the respondents bearing No.01/CGM(HR)/2011.
2. Petitioners, admittedly, had qualification of SSC with ITI certificate in
the trade of ‘Plumber’ whereas the notification issued, as above, is for candidates, who have passed SSC with ITI in disciplines other than ‘plumber’. Even according to the petitioners, they are not eligible as per the educational qualifications mentioned in the notification. However, their grievance appears to be that the trade of Plumber is excluded while issuing the notification and the petitioners being land oustees, are excluded from consideration.
3. Even if such an alternate contention of the petitioners is justified; they cannot seek consideration under the present notification. It is, however, open for the petitioners to apply, as land oustees, to enable the respondents to consider the petitioners’ candidature under any other scheme subject to their fulfilling the requirement thereof.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
