Sri V.V. Narayana Rao, the learned standing counsel for the respondent had taken notice on 07-12-2007 and requested to get instructions. The matter is coming up for admission today.

2. Heard Sri Ch.Ravinder, the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and Sri V.V.Narayana Rao, the learned standing counsel representing the respondent.

The writ petition is filed for a writ of mandamus, declaring the action of the respondent in not considering the petitioner’s representation dated 18-11-2007 for extension of lease agreement for maintenance of vehicle parking at Gudi Malkapur Market as illegal and arbitrary and consequently to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 18-11-2007 for extension of lease agreement for maintenance of vehicle parking at Gudi Malkapur Market and to pass such other suitable orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

4. Several facts had been narrated in the affidavit filed in

support of the writ petition.

5. The main grievance of writ petitioner is that though extension

of such agreement can be granted, the representation of the

petitioner dated 18-11-2007 is not being considered by the respondent. This Court is not inclined to express any opinion relating to the merits or demerits of the matter.

In the light of the facts and circumstances averred in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, this court directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18-11-2007 praying for extension of lease agreement for maintenance of vehicle parking at Gudimalkapur market, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of at

the stage of admission. No costs.
