ORDER:
Heard both the counsel.
2. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Industries had taken notice on 13.11.2007 and seeks time to get instructions. This Court ordered notice before admission on 22.11.2007. The matter is coming up for admission.
3. This writ petition is filed for a writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of respondents 1 & 2 in not disposing of the mining application, dated 03.02.2006, for grant of mining lease for iron ore over an extent of Ac:20.52 cents of Velagacherla village, Penagaluru Mandal, Kadapa District, contrary to Rule 63-A of Mineral Concession Rules, 1960, as arbitrary, illegal and unconstitutional.
2. It is stated by Sri Raghava Chary, representing the Assistant Government Pleader that despite repeated representations neither the application nor the representations are being disposed of by the 2nd respondent. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the representation, dated 01.08.2007 submitted to the 1st respondent and another representation, dated 06.08.2007, submitted to the 2nd respondent are pending.
3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, let the 2nd respondent dispose of the application, dated 03.02.2006, along with the representation, dated 06.08.2007, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
