The grievance of the petitioner is that a piece of land is being sold out by way of public auction and the notice has not been published in the newspapers.
Learned counsel for the respondents has produced before us copies of the newspapers in which the notice is published. It is stated that the notice is also being shown in cinema halls and pamphlets are also being circulated. The petitioner appears to have been espousing some personal cause in the name of public interest and has sworn the affidavit, which is obviously false. In order to curb such tendency, it is necessary that this Court should not allow such litigation. Therefore, costs of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only) are imposed upon the petitioner, who shall
deposit the same to the account of the Chief Justice Relief Fund within a period of two weeks from today.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
