Petition under Article 226 of the constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the Affidavit filed herein the High Court may be pleased to issue Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of 'Writ of Mandamus' directing the Respondent to award the Pay Scale of Rs. 410-625 (RSP 1978) to the Petitioner from the date of his appointment i.e., 23-10-1986 on par with other Lab Attendants who are accorded the same Scale of Pay from the date of their appointment holding the Respondent's inaction in this regard as illegal, arbitrary and discriminative under Article 14, and 16 of the Constitution of India and pass such other order/orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.
