Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed herein the High Court may be pleased to issue a writ or order or direction, especially one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus – (i) declaring the action of the respondents in not considering petitioners’ cases, for appointment to the post of LDCs/LDCs (Typists)/Typists in the ensuing recruitment, as illegal and arbitrary, (ii) consequently direct the respondents to consider petitioners’s cases along with the candicates, for recruitment to the post of LDCs/LDC (Typist)/Typsit, in terms of B.P.Ms.No.36, dated 18.5.1997.

O R D E R :
Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of the interim direction, dated 28.11.2002 granted by this Court allowing the petitioners to attend the interview along with others to be conducted on 30.11.2002, they were permitted to attend the said interview and therefore no further orders are necessary in this Writ Petition. It is further stated that the petitioners can be given liberty to approach this Court, if they were not appointed on merits questioning the action of the respondents.
2. In view of the aforesaid submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of as no further orders are necessary in this Writ Petition, with a liberty to the petitioners to approach this Court afresh, aggrieved by the action of the respondents, if any. No costs.
