Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondent No.5 – Chief Executive Officer, Zila Parishad, Sri Ganganagar to decide their representation dated 04.09.2018 expeditiously.

In view of the aforesaid, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to file a fresh representation within a period of three weeks along with photo-stat copy of the earlier representation and certified copy of the order instant.

In case, a representation is so addressed within the aforesaid period, the respondent No.5 shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law as early as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks.

It is made clear that aforesaid direction to decide the representation has been issued only with a view to ensure expeditious redressal of petitioners' grievance. The same may not be construed to be an order to decide the representation in a particular manner.

The stay application also stands disposed of accordingly.
