The MACT, No. I, Udaipur by its judgment and award dated 3 1.10.201 8 in MAC Case No. 339/20 18 awarded a sum of Rs.36,235i- along with interest @ 8.5% per annum.
With the active efforts of Counsel representing the parties and the authorities of the Insurance Company, the controversy invotved in this appeal has been settled by ~n~~tual compromise in the spirit of Lok Adalat. We appreciate the efforts of all concerned in settling the niattcr in pre-counselling. The memo of understanding shall constitute a part of'the atvard
With the consent of the part'ies, the impugned award dated 3 1.10.2018 is further enhanced by Ks.1,40,000/- in favour of the claimant(s)/appellant(s) as a full and final settlement of the case. The amount so agreed shall be deposited by the respondent Insurance Company with the Tribunal within a period of two months from today failing which. the same shall carry interest @ 7.5% per annum from the date of this order till actual realization. The enhanced amount of compensation be disbursed in terms of the award in the saving bank account of the claimantis). The award impugned dated 3 1 .I 0.70 18 passed by MACT No. 1, Udaipur in Claim Case No. 3391201 8 is modified accordingly.
In view of the above, the appeal is disposed of.
The Registry is directed to send back the recard forthwith.
