AWARD OF LOK ADALAT

The matter is placed before the Lok Adalat today.
The MACT, Sirohi by its judgment and award dated 18.02.2020 in MAC Case No. 5/20 19 awarded a suin of Rs. 10,20,000/- along with interest @ 8% per annum.
With the consent of the parties, the impugned award dated 18.02.2020 is further enhanced by Rs.1,50,0001- in favour of the claimant(s)/appellant(s) as a full and final settlement of the case. The amount so agreed shall be deposited by the respondent Insurance Company with the Tribunal within a period of two months from today failing which, the same shall cany interest @ 7.5% per annurn from the date of this order till actual realization. The enhanced amount of compensation be disbursed in terms of the award in the saving bank account of the claimant(s). The award .impugned dated 512019 passed by MACT, Sirohi in Claim Case No.512019 is modified accordingly.
In view of the above, the appeal is disposed of.
The Registry is directed to send back the record forthwith.
