In wake of onslaught of COVID-19, abundant caution is being taken while hearing the matters in Court.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner raising a grievance that its applications for recognition of D.El.ED/ B.Ed/D.EL.ED.(STC)/B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed Courses are pending with the respondent-WRC since long but the same have not been decided despite several representations/requests.

Learned counsel for the respondents has assured this Court that the applications filed by the petitioner-institution for recognition of the above referred courses will be decided expeditiously preferably within seven weeks from today.

In view of the assurance given by learned counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent-WRC to consider the applications filed by the petitioner-institution for granting recognition for the aforesaid courses and same may be decided within a period of seven weeks from today, strictly in accordance with law. The stay application as well as all pending applications also stand disposed of accordingly.
