This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging disobedience of order dated 04.10.2016 passed by this Court, whereby the respondents were directed to complete the work of renovation and carpeting of road connecting “JodhpurRajola-Sojat-Rendari-Kantaliya-Baban-Bheem (Station Highway No.58)”. It was specifically directed that renovation and carpeting work shall cover the entire part of the road passing through the District Pali and Rajsamand. The work was directed to be completed expeditiously positively on or before 11.11.2016.
A reply to the contempt petition has been filed on behalf of respondent taking a stand that as directed by this Court the renovation and carpeting work of the road from Jodhpur-RajolaSojat-Rendari-Kantaliya-Baban-Bheem (Station Highway No.58) from KM 114/300 to 119/0, has already stand completed.
The grievance raised in the contempt petition is that no work has been undertaken in relation to part of road falling within Ajmer district. It is noticed that road falling within District Ajmer is not covered by the directions issued by this Court, as aforesaid. The remaining work having been completed by the respondents, nothing survives in this contempt petition for consideration of this Court. If the petitioner has any grievance with regard to noncompletion of work of road falling within Ajmer district, it is always open for him to avail appropriate remedy.
The contempt proceedings are dropped. Notices stand discharged.
