This contempt petition has been filed alleging disobedience of order dated 23.10.2018 passed by this Court, whereby the respondents were directed to consider the case of prisoner, Mohendra Singh @ Happy for grant of permanent parole afresh and pass appropriate order.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that application of the prisoner for release on permanent parole was considered by the State Level Parole Committee in its meeting held on 18.12.2018, and he is already directed to be released on furnishing of two solvent security of Rs.50,000/- and personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/-.
In this regard, order dated 11.01.2019 issued by the Deputy Secretary, Department of Home, Govt. of Rajasthan, produced before this Court for perusal, is taken on record.
In view of aforesaid, the order disobedience whereof is alleged in the contempt petition, stands complied with.
Accordingly, the contempt proceeding is dropped. The notices are discharged.
