The petitioner has preferred this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers:

“It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this writ petition may kindly be allowed, and by an appropriate writ, order or direction respondent may be directed to consider the case of the petitioner in the light of the circular dated 15.03.2017 for regularization on the post of Safai Karmchari with consequential benefits.

Any other appropriate writ, order or direction, which this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, may kindly be passed in the favour of the petitioner.”

Learned counsel states that petitioner would be satisfied if his representation is decided by respondents in light of Circular dated 15.03.2017.

Learned counsel for the respondents assures this Court that representation of the petitioner shall be decided by respondents in light of Circular dated 15.03.2017.

In light of the aforesaid submission made on behalf of the petitioner and the assurance given by learned counsel for the respondents, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide representation of the petitioner by passing a speaking order, in light of Circular dated 15.03.2017, within a period of 60 days from today, strictly in accordance with law.
