Surender Kumar Jawa Vs Paras Ram Mordia and Another

The petitioner has sought initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for willful and deliberate disobedience of the order dated 04.04.2013 passed by the Single Bench of this court in S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.102/1998 whereby the respondents were directed to complete the construction of the house allotted to the petitioner and hand over possession within two months.

In the reply filed by the respondents, it is stated that the after completing the construction, the possession of the house has been handed over to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute that the possession of the house, after completion of construction, has been handed over to the petitioner.

In view of above, I am satisfied that the order of the court has been complied with. The contempt petition is disposed of accordingly. Rule discharged.
