Mr. Dinesh Nirwan, petitioner in person. Mr. Pratap Mal Kedia, ACP (Admn.), Police Line, Jaipur appears in person. BY THE COURT

Contempt of the order dated 01.02.2008, passed by this Court has been alleged in this contempt petition. Thereunder this Court had directed that the petitioner in the facts obtaining in the case before the Court be given appointment on the post of Constable against the vacancy reserved for the petitioner under the interim order dated 05.08.2002. The Court had further stated that the petitioner's appointment would relate to the date on which a person less meritorious to the petitioner has been appointed on the post of Constable. However as regard to the consequential benefits it was stated that “the petitioner is entitled to all consequential benefits from the date of his appointment. ”

Reply to the contempt petition has been filed. It has been submitted that in compliance with the order dated 01.02.2008, passed by this Court, the petitioner was appointed

as constable and given pay scale at par with one Shri Keshar Dev Belt No.8992, the person immediately lower to the petitioner in the merit list of the relevant examination and accordingly fixed. Further the petitioner was given notional benefits w.e.f. 05.11.2001 and upto 16.12.2008 and allowed monetary benefits from the date of his appointment i.e. 17.12.2008. It has been submitted that thus full compliance with the order dated 01.02.2008 passed by this Court has been made.

I have heard the petitioner present in person as also Mr. Pratap Mal Kedia, ACP (Admn.), Police Line, Jaipur.

In my considered opinion, full compliance with the order of this court passed on 01.02.2008 has been made. There is no force in the contempt petition.

Dismissed. Notices discharged.
