Prayer in this petition is for initiation of contempt proceedi n gs against the respondent for n o t complying the order dated 04.8.202 3 (Annexure P-1) passed by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in C WP-4526 of 2019 titled as “R a kesh and others vs. Haryana Staff Sel e ction Commission” whereby the petition was disposed of in terms of o rder of even date passed in C W P No.1285 of 2019 titled as “Manoj K umar vs. Haryana Staff Select i on Commission, Panchkula” vide whi c h the writ petition was dispose d of on the basis of statement made by learned counsel for the State t o the effect that “….in case any rep r esentation is filed by the pe t itioners, the same will be consider e d in accordance with law a n d an appropriate speaking order wi l l be passed within a period of e ight weeks of the receipt of

Learned counsel for the respondent-State refers to the reply dat e d 14.6.2024 filed by way of af f idavit of Shri Vinay Kumar, IRPS, Secretary Haryana Staff Selectio n Commission, Panchkula to submit t h at in compliance of the order d a ted 04.8.2023 (Annexure P- 1) a Spe a king Order dated 13.03.2024/0 1 .4.2024 (Annexure R-1) has been passed rejecting the claim of th e petitioner; thus, no cause survives i n the present petition.
