Without commenting as regards the veracity of th e averment s made in the petition and also as regards the validity of thei r alleged m arriage or age, the petition is disposed of with a direction t o responde n t No.2 i.e. Superintendent of P o lice, Jind to look into the matte r and to di s pose of the representation date d 02.09.2024 (Annexure P-5) i n accordan c e with law. In case, it is found that there is a genuine threat t o the lives and liberty of the petitioners, then necessary steps warrante d under la w be taken thereupon at the earl i est so as to ensure that no har m is caused to the petitioners.
