Prayer in this petition is for issuance of direction to responden t s No. 1 to 5 to register FIR agai n st respondents No. 6 and 7, on the basis complaint dated 22.03.2023 mo v ed by the petitioner before the SHO, Poli c e Station Women Cell, Sector- 5 , Panchkula.

Upon notice, status report d ated 01.10.2023 on behalf of responden t s No. 1 to 5 has been filed by w ay of affidavit of Sh. Rajnesh Kumar, A s sistant Commissioner of Polic e , Panchkula and in para No. 9 thereof, it has been averred that ‘no cognizable offence was found to be committed within the jurisdiction of Commissionerate of Police, Panchkula’ .

Learned for the petitioner s u bmits that the instant petition may be disposed of, with liberty to the p etitioner to pursue alternative remedy, in accordance with law, as per ju d gment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Sakiri Vasu vs. State of U.P. and others 2008(1) R.C.R.(Criminal) 392.

In view of the above, the ins t ant petition stands disposed of with the li b erty aforesaid.
