Vide this common order CWP No.29364 of 2019 and CWP No.32020 of 2019 are being disposed of as the similar question of law is involved in both these petitions.
The petitioners have filed this petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the order dated 12.07.2019 passed by the Directorate of Elementary Education Haryana/ respondent No.3 vide which claim of the petitioners for stepping up of pay on the basis of

catch-up principle at par with junior belonging to reserve category has been rejected.
As per short reply, by way of affidavit of Indra Beniwal, Deputy Director Elementary Education, Panchkula on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3, the seniority of the petitioners has been fixed vide order No.17/127-2019 HRM-III/ESHM(1) dated 06.01.2023 in seniority list dated 01.04.2016 as the instructions dated 16.03.2006 has been quashed in CWP No. 17280 of 2011 on 07.08.2012.
Learned State counsel, on instructions from Mr.Narender, Assistant, submits that in view of the aforesaid order, the grievance of the petitioners stands redressed and the said order shall be implemented very shortly.
In view of the stand taken by the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of.
Normal consequences to follow in view of passing of order dated 06.01.2023.
Let the needful be done within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
