Through this public interest litigation, the petitioner
has prayed that respondent No.1 be directed to restrain the
residents of various colonies in Rohtak town from installing
unauthorised gates. It has been averred that the persons, who
are not residents of said colonies, are facing great
inconvenience while passing through these areas. The petitioner
has also made a representation before respondent No.2 in this
regard, but no decision has been taken on the same.

 After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner, we
dispose of this writ petition with a direction to respondent No.2
to look into the grievance of the petitioner and in case any
inconvenience is being caused to the general public because of
installations of gates, then ensure that the gates remain open
for commuters to enter the colonies.
