Counsel for the petitioner asserts that the petitioner was initially appointed as a Driver on contractual basis with Haryana Roadways, Yamunanagar on 27.05.1998. A policy dated 28.07.1994 was issued by the State Government in terms of which it was decided that the benefit of regularization of service could be extended to the Drivers and Conductors working in the Haryana Roadways on completion of two years of service. The services of the petitioner were regularized w.e.f. 22.06.2002.
The present writ petition has been filed claiming the benefit of ante dated regularization in service i.e. with effect from the date of completion of two years of service on contractual basis i.e. from the year 2000 instead of 2002.

Counsel for the petitioner is seeking parity with other employees in such matter and would even refer to an order dated 31.10.2012 passed by this Court in CWP No.21525 of 2012 Sukhbir Singh and others Vs. State of Haryana and others (Annexure P-5) wherein in identical circumstances directions had been issued to the concerned respondent-Authority to consider the claim for grant of benefit of regularization on completion of two years of service.
The present petition is disposed of with direction to
respondent No.4 i.e. the General Manager, Haryana Roadways, Yamunanagar to consider the claim of the petitioner and to take a final decision on his representation dated 05.10.2012 (Annexure P-6) strictly in accordance with law and by passing a speaking order within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
Petition disposed of.
