Present petition has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for the grant of interim bail for one month to the petitioner in a case arising out of FIR No.124, dated 6.7.2012, registered at Police Station Uchana, District Jind, under Sections 20-61-85 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 for the purpose of performing the marriage of his niece.
Upon notice of motion to the Advocate General, Haryana, learned Counsel for the State, after seeking instructions from SI Mohinder Singh, states that the factum of marriage of the niece of the petitioner is correct. He further states that the brother of the petitioner has already expired; he is the only male member in the family; for the purpose of kanyadan , his presence is necessary.
Keeping in view the status of the case, petitioner is ordered to

be taken to the venue of the marriage on 25.5.2013 at 9 a.m. in the morning for performing the ceremonies under adequate police protection and will be taken back to the judicial custody in the evening on the same day.
