Present petition has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for the grant of regular bail to the petitioner in a case arising out of FIR No.79, dated 11.6.2012, registered at Police Station Makhu, District Ferozepur, under Sections 15/61/85 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
Learned Counsel for the State, after seeking instructions from SI Baljit Singh, states that there is another case bearing FIR No.78 dated 11.6.2012 registered against the petitioner at Police Station Makhu under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. However, learned Counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has already been granted bail in the aforesaid case.
This is the second offence under the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. No ground for the grant of bail is made out.
Dismissed.
