Reply by way of a short affidavit of Mr.Jaswinder Singh, Station House Officer, Police Station Nihal Singh Wala, District Moga has been filed in Court. The same is taken on record. It has been stated in the aforesaid affidavit that the matter has been looked into and it has been found that one Avtar Singh has committed an offence punishable under Section 494 IPC, which is a non-cognizable offence, for which a complaint filed by the petitioner is maintainable.
In view of the aforesaid fact, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to the petitioner to seek an appropriate remedy for redressal of her grievances in accordance with law.
Ordered accordingly.
