The petitioner has made a complaint that the respondents had willfully disobeyed the order of this Court dated 08.02.2011 wherein direction was given to the respondents to convey the decision, if any, taken by the State Government on the report submitted by the Chief Vigilance Officer, Local Government, Punjab, in September, 1998, within a period of two months from the date of receiving a certified copy of the order.
After notice, reply has been filed by respondent no.1 in which it has been averred that in compliance of the directions of this Court in CWP No.8454 of 2008, speaking order was passed on 24.01.2013 indicating the action taken on the report of the Chief Vigilance Officer, Local Government, Punjab, dated 07.09.1998 and the said decision was forwarded

to the petitioner on 24.01.2013.
In this manner, the order of this Court dated 08.02.2011 is deemed to have been complied with and hence, I do not find any reason to proceed further in this matter. The contempt petition is, thus, dismissed and the Rule is discharged.
