The petitioner has prayed for quashing of order dated 17.09.2010 by which no confidence motion was passed against her in a meeting held in contravention of Section 19 of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994.
The petitioner was elected as Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat of village Tibbi Ravidaspura, Block Sunam, District Sangrur in June 2008.
Counsel for the respondents have pointed out that the present petition has been rendered infructuous because the term of earlier

Panchayat, in which the petitioner was elected as Sarpanch, has already come to an end and a new Panchayat has been elected in the election recently held on 03.07.2013.
Keeping in view the facts and circumstances, since the tenure of the petitioner is already over by efflux of time and a new Panchayat has already been constituted, the present petition has become infructuous and is dismissed as such.
