The impugned award Annexure P-4 has been passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal on the basis of some settlement which was arrived at before the Lok Adalat. Consequently, the writ petition against the award of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal would not be competent. The petitioner is at liberty to avail the appropriate remedy against the award of the Tribunal as is envisaged under the law.
Petition stands disposed of.
