Petitioner – Amanpreet Gill has applied for grant of regular bail in FIR No. 59 dated 31.3.2012 under Section 394 IPC, registered at Police Station Phillaur, District Jalandhar.
As per case of the prosecution, Pawan Kumar s/o Madan Lal, Amanpreet Gill - the present petitioner and Chidhi, attacked the complainant. Pawan Kumar attacked with back side of Dattar which hit the complainant on right hand, Amanpreet Gill, the present petitioner, attacked which hit on the little finger of right hand of the

complainant. Chidhi raised a lalkara to take everything from him. The complainant raised an alarm. In the meantime, the younger brother of the complainant Parminder Singh, who was travelling on scooter bearing registration No. PB-37/5051 reached the spot and all the three persons i.e. Pawan Kumar, Amanpreet Gill and Chidhi gave injuries to him. It is further alleged that the accused have taken away the scooter.
Petitioner has given a counter version in the shape of Annexure P-2. The injuries on the person of Baljit Singh – complainant are one abrasion and the second is complained of pain, which were declared simple in nature.
The petitioner is in custody since 23.4.2012. The trial is not likely to be concluded at an early date.
So, bail is granted to the petitioner - Amanpreet Gill, to the
satisfaction of the trial Court.
