Prayer is for grant of bail to petitioner-Jagdev Singh who has been booked for having committed the offence punishable under Section 306, IPC in a case arising out of FIR No.197 dated 15.11.2008 registered at Police Station, Sadar, Faridkot.
The petitioner has been charged for the offence punishable under Section 306, IPC. The FIR was registered on 15.11.2008 and during the pendency of the investigation, the petitioner was declared as proclaimed offender, therefore, his presence could be secured on 14.01.2012.
Learned counsel for the State submitted that most of the prosecution witnesses have already been examined and the next date of hearing before the learned trial court is 18.12.2012 for recording the remaining prosecution witnesses.

Keeping in view the circumstances of the case and the fact that most of the prosecution witnesses have already been examined and that the petitioner was declared as proclaimed offender during the course of investigation, therefore, no ground is made out for grant of bail to the petitioner.
