Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of the police authorities, the petitioners have approached this Court, by way of instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., invoking it inherent jurisdiction seeking direction against the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the private respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners had been running from pillar to post but no action has been taken. Having been left with no other option, the petitioners moved a self contained representation dated 06.02.2012 (Annexure P-6) before Senior Superintendent of Police, Palwal, but no action thereon has been taken so far.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be satisfied in case Superintendent of Police, Palwalrespondent No.3 is directed to look into the grievance raised by the petitioners vide their representation dated 06.02.2012 (Anneuxre P-6) and pass appropriate orders thereon.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and to

secure the ends of the justice, this Court is of the considered opinion that it is just and expedient to issue direction to Superintendent of Police, Palwalrespondent No.3 to consider the grievance of the petitioners and take appropriate action.

In view of the above, Superintendent of Police, Palwalrespondent No.3 is directed to consider the grievance raised by the petitioners vide their representation dated 06.02.2012 (Annexure P-6), which prima facie seems to be genuine, dispassionately and expeditiously, passing appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law.

With the observations made above, the present petition stands disposed of.
