As per reply filed by the State, the charges have been framed against the petitioner on 21/2/2012 and the trial is fixed for recording of prosecution evidence on 13.3.2012.
At this stage, counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Gurdial Singh, has informed the Court that the petitioner has since been convicted on 2.5.2012.
In view of the above, the present petition has become infructuous.
Disposed of as infructuous.
