Mr.Cheema, learned Senior DAG, Punjab has placed on record a speaking order dated 16.9.2011 (issued on 9.11.2011) accepting the petitioner’s claim. It is stated that the consequential arrears have also been paid to the petitioner on 05.05.2011.
The contempt petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a clarificatory direction that if there is any other claim or for the grant of interest on delayed payments, the petitioner may represent the competent authority who shall then consider and dispose of his claim by passing a speaking order within a period of four months from the date of receiving such a representation.
